Born in 1969 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, Justine attended her local comprehensive school, before studying economics at Southampton University. She has an MBA from the London Business School and used to work in business.

Justine says: "Putney s a great place and we want to keep it that way. I know people of all generations, especially my own, are switching off politics. I hope that at least in Putney I can start to change that for the better by always being approachable, listening to residents and standing up for our concerns. Whether its Heathrow, crime, or the District Line, I ll be there working with residents to make sure our views are listened to and acted upon.

"We need someone representing Putney who actually understands what its like to live here, and who s got the determination and tenacity to make sure local views are heard at the highest level in government."

Justine is also a school governor at Hotham Primary school in Putney.

Justine s experience in business means that she knows how to get things done. Justine understands how important listening to local residents is. If any company ignored its customers and increased its cost base as much as Labour have ignored people and increased their taxes, shareholders would sack the directors! Justine believes taxpayers deserve just as much consideration, choice, and care with their money!

She fought Ealing Acton & Shepherds Bush at the 2001 General Election up against the then Chairman of the Parliamentary Labour Party.

She was elected as the Member of Parliament for Putney in May 2005. In December 2005, she was appointed as a Vice Chairman of the Conservative Party, with responsibility for youth.

In July 2007, Justine was appointed as a Shadow Minister for the Treasury. In January 2009, Justine was appointed Shadow Minister for Communities and Local Government by David Cameron.

In May 2010, Justine was appointed Economic Secretary to the Treasury.

4th February 2011

Damian Green - MP for Ashford & Minister for Immigration

Damian was born in 1956. He believes that taxation and bureaucracy should be minimised to give people the best chance to exercise their talents. He is a strong defender of the United Kingdom.

During the past 11 years, he has fought on behalf of his constituents for better health provision, local Primary Schools, improved transport services, Post Offices, local Magistrates Courts and against regional police forces.

As Agriculture spokesman he became an expert on bovine TB and campaigned for the dairy industry.
